This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. In plain English, the way we do everything.

Headland Digital is a marketing agency based on the Isle of Man. When we talk about "we" or "us" in this policy, we mean Headland Digital. You can reach us at info@headlanddigital.im or on +44 7624 464776. We are the data controller for the information described here.
When you contact us through the website, WhatsApp, email, phone or our booking link, we collect the details you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, who handles your marketing, and anything you tell us about your business. When you visit the site, we also collect basic technical and usage information through cookies and similar technologies, such as your device type, pages viewed and how you arrived.
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. This may include Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which help us see which ads and pages are working. These tools may set their own cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Facebook and Google ad settings.
We use your information to reply to you, put together your free marketing roadmap, provide our services, improve the website, and measure and improve our advertising. We do not sell your information to anyone.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business, and your information may pass through them: Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Calendly (call bookings), Google (analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement). Each processes data under its own terms. We only share what is needed, and we never sell your data.
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we are in contact or working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
Under the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR, you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@headlanddigital.im. You also have the right to complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
